A new lingerie set has been dubbed the ‘comfiest on the market’ – and the launch was such a hit two units sold every minute.

Bachelor star and podcaster Abbie Chatfield collaborated on the ‘game-changing’ new set with Australian underwear and loungewear brand Souszy and described the lacey pieces as encompassing ‘comfort and confidence’. 

The bralette ($65) and cheeky Brazillian brief ($45) features edgy mesh detailing and an animal print soft stretch lace pattern designed to capture a ‘confident energy’ while being super flattering on all body types.

It first launched in 2019 with its own pair of all-lace panties the ‘Souszy Panty’. 

It was designed to reintroduce the modern woman to wearing lace every day through a comfortable design that was ‘wedgie free’ while looking fantastic. 

After Covid hit the pair noticed many stores with excess stock after closing up so created a website retailing a curation of quality lingerie and intimates from the best brands from around the world.

‘Intimates are something women wear every day, and in 2020 we realised there was a gap in the market for a ‘one-stop-shop’ dedicated solely to selling women’s intimates and sleepwear brands,’ they said.

‘There were also a lot of brands trying to move their stock, so it seemed like the perfect time to make the move into multi-brand retailing.’

Once they made this shift the brand saw a 221 per cent increase in sales from April to May 2020, and online store traffic doubled. 

In October 2021, Souszy generated more sales in three hours than in its entire first year of trading, thanks to their first collaboration with Abbie and her empowering legion of fans.
